I love moving to music. I'm a builder by trade. I love The Arts. I travel around the country attending music festivals. I love connecting with my friends and meeting new friends. Live music is one of my life's biggest passions.

There’s a great scene in The Last Waltz – the documentary about The Band’s final concert – where director Martin Scorsese is discussing music with drummer/singer/mandolin player Levon Helm. Helm says, “If it mixes with rhythm, and if it dances, then you’ve got a great combination of all those different kinds of music: country, bluegrass, blues music, show music…”
To which Scorsese, the inquisitive interviewer, asks, “What’s it called, then?”
“Rock & roll!”

I volunteered at the first Hangtown Festival and have made it back as often as I am able! I enjoy seeing new music. I love all the stages. I really liked the 3D artwork the first year, from all over the country. The vibe is awesome. I am SO glad Achilles Wheel is returning this year. I would, of course, like to see them on more stages and especially the main stage next year. They really get the crowd dancing. I am very appreciative to ALL the staff and volunteers that put this marvelous festival together. I am glad I will see The Infamous Stringdusters & Lukas Nelson & The Promise of the Real again...
